ALMAVIVA
AlmaViva is a newly renovated villa with holiday apartments, close to beautiful beaches and in the heart of the Bandite di Scarlino Trail Area. It’s a perfect location for families, bikers, beach bums and for nature lovers in general.
After years of planning, construction work, dust and debris, unforeseeable events and an unreal amount of decisions, Almaviva Holidays will be up and running by July 2020, with the first three apartments. Infrastructure, bathrooms, kitchens and fixtures are state of the art, modern and functional. Furniture is Italian country style with a shabby touch. Light fixtures come from Marocco. The place is surrounded by spacious gardens. All apartments are at ground floor and have independent access. Bike room and laundry facilities complete the picture.
The PuntAla Camp & Resort is within walking distance and offers every kind of service, such as restaurants, super market, fresh produce, bars, entertainment, sailing school, bike rental, tree climbing, and more. Charming towns and a great array of restaurants can easily be reached by car. Within 1 km you will also find service providers for bike tours and horse back riding.
Last but not the least: “Alma” means soul in latin, “viva” means alive in Italian. There is energy, vitality and optimism in the name. Oh, did I mention that we’re located in a valley called Pian d’Alma?
VISION
With an abandoned farmhouse to my name, I had two choices: either sell it or bring it to new life. I thrive on challenges so, of course, I decided to restructure it into a place where to create and live, where to exist between passion and profession. A very personal vision brought Almaviva Holidays from dream to reality, a dream which continues to come true with every guest who comes through these doors.
My vision has a story:
I’ve been really into mountain bikes since my teenage summers in Colorado. From 2008 to 2015 I ran a bike tour and rental operation developing the now famous PuntAla Trail Area. Now I’m back in business with outdoors enthusiasts but from the hospitality side. Hospitality has been a family trade for generations. I’m tying the loose ends of my journey to create a life project: a place for families and sport enthusiasts, a place of meaning, where to welcome guests, listen to their needs, offer uniquely tailored experiences, and reciprocate their trust and choice of where to spend their time.
My mission is to celebrate every instant of this time, with hospitality, enthusiasm and professionalism. I would like to offer you a place where to stay and come back to.
